Performance Features

The 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz gets up to an EPA-estimated 27 mpg in maximum fuel economy. With the available engine, you can get up to 281 horsepower with the Sport Adventure Vehicle (SAV). All-wheel drive is available for the Santa Cruz, and it can tow up to 5,000 pounds, enough to haul boats and small trailers around Mountain Home, ID. The base engine with the Santa Cruz is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Its power output is 191 horsepower, and its maximum torque is 181 pound-feet. An eight-speed transmission comes with the base engine. If you get the SEL Premium trim level, you have the option of getting a more powerful engine, which is a turbo engine that delivers 281 horsepower and just over 310 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard with this engine.
